There is nothing better than being near someone who is genuinely and irrepressibly laughing.  When we laugh, we are utterly free and happy, and “infect” others with our mirth.   The tale of the "Laughing Buddha"  was that life is such a series of unforeseen ups and downs that really the only answer is to laugh!   Often that’s the only sensible response.
